We want to thank the Lone Peak Police department for their compassion and service while at the house, and for the Paramedics who worked valiantly to help Dad out in the last moments of his life here on earth. Thank you for the sacrifice and service you provide every day to our community.  A huge thank you to Warenski Funeral Home for taking care of Dad once he left this mortal life and the respect they showed our family through our grieving process.

Those wishing to send flowers may have then sent to the Alpine 8th Ward Chapel on Wednesday, morning prior to services.

Ruthie, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet husband. Words are never adequate or convey what you mean. So I am sending you a hug filled with love for you and your family. If I were there I would sit with you share your burden. Since I am not there I will pray and think about how you have touched my life. Hope you feel the love and peace from our Father in Heaven.

We were so sad to learn of Steve’s passing. He was called home way too soon,
We have such fond memories of him as a friend and a former Ward member.
We remember one year for Fathers Day in the Primary, we wanted to have 4×4 blocks of wood for each child to decorate by adding their picture and sweet words like Hugs, Kisses, Chip of the Old Block, etc. Steve offered to make these wonderful blocks of wood for every child!! He cut them perfectly square, rounded the corners, sanded them smooth, and each block had a beautiful wood grain. A perfect gift for Dad.
The children were so excited to work with the wood blocks, and glue their pictures on and add those special words and phrases. After all these years, Jim still has the beautiful blocks that Steve created for that special Fathers Day, with the pictures and thoughts from our 3 children.
We will miss this sweet, gentle man, but will forever treasure our memory of him.
With deepest love and sympathy to all of the Oliverson family.
Jim & Barbara Williams ~ Rachel, Matt & Mary too! ♥
